Brookfield Residential Properties continues to dominate the Hamilton riverfront, partnering with Multiplex to build Gallery House – its seventh residential building in the Northshore precinct.
Sales have reached close to $100 million on the 20-level luxury apartment building, with construction to get into full swing in the coming weeks.
Brookfield Residential Properties General Manger, Lee Butterworth, said this was a major milestone for the project, which was also gearing up for the launch of stage two.
“It is an exciting time for Brookfield with early works now complete and construction of Gallery House commencing, coinciding with a registration of interest campaign for the next phase of the development,” he said.
“Demand for riverfront apartments remains high and the success of Gallery House is testament to the fact that well-designed and positioned properties continue to perform strongly.
“The construction of Gallery House will be a further boost for the Brisbane property market and construction industry, generating approximately 500 jobs until completion.
“We look forward to working with Multiplex to deliver high-quality apartments that residents will be proud to call home.”
Multiplex’s Queensland Managing Director Graham Cottam said the construction of Gallery House would build on the company’s long history with Brookfield Residential Properties’ projects in Northshore Hamilton.
“Multiplex has delivered various stages at Brookfield’s Portside Wharf development over the past 10 years and we are looking forward to continuing that partnership,” he said.
“Gallery House will transform riverfront living in Hamilton and we are proud to be a part of the team delivering this next phase of development.”
Gallery House sits on a 6,344sqm parcel adjacent to the developer’s Portside Wharf retail and residential precinct.
It comprises 169 residences, including one, two, and three bedroom apartments and penthouses, ranging in size from 58sqm to 669sqm.
Mr Butterworth said with Gallery House now almost 80 percent sold and construction now underway, buyers would need to move quickly to secure their apartment.
“One of the reasons Gallery House has proven so popular is because it offers a wide variety of floorplans to suit everyone from investors and owner occupiers looking for an affordable riverfront abode; through to those who are seeking the ultimate luxury of a sky apartment or penthouse,” he said.
“The project offers expansive apartments with up to four bedrooms, plus balconies offering more than 230sqm of space – which is larger than the average home – for residents to take in river and city views.
“Panoramic vistas of the skyline can also be enjoyed from the private residents’ retreat, which sits on the rooftop, offering resort-style amenities, including a 20 metre infinity pool.”
Remaining apartments in Gallery House start from $419,000, with two penthouses available starting from $2.6 million.
