Brookfield Residential Properties is gearing up to release a new $144 million riverfront development to meet increasing demand for high quality, waterfront apartments.
The 20-level luxury apartment project, Gallery House, will occupy an absolute waterfront position in Hamilton, neighbouring the developer’s retail and residential community, Portside Wharf and taking in views over the river to the city skyline out to the mountains.
A registration of interest campaign launched last week for buyers looking to secure a one, two or three bedroom apartment, or one of six premium penthouses and sub penthouses.
Brookfield Residential Properties’ General Manager Lee Butterworth said Gallery House was expected to appeal to purchasers wanting a luxury home or investment on Brisbane’s highly sought-after riverfront.
“Gallery House will set a new standard in apartment living in Hamilton and become the most luxurious property in Brookfield’s Queensland portfolio,” he said.
“We have worked closely with renowned architect, Cottee Parker, to design a building that connects with the river and emanates a sense of tranquillity and warmth.
“While Gallery House will cultivate a relaxed lifestyle, its location within Northshore Hamilton and proximity to Eat Street Markets and the restaurants, retailers and conveniences of Portside Wharf, means residents will also enjoy the connectedness of an inner-city suburb.”
The apartments will comprise timeless design, generous sized balconies, full height windows and quality finishes, with many also featuring two car spaces. The building includes a rooftop sanctuary for residents with an infinity pool, outdoor lounge and BBQ area.
With three ‘collections’ offering varying levels of luxury, Gallery House boasts above average sized apartments with balconies of up to 220sqm, with many apartments featuring two undercover car spaces.
“Our ‘Sky Collection’ refers to apartments on the top five levels of Gallery House, all of which have a minimum of three bedrooms, and many with multipurpose room,” said Mr Butterworth.
“Apartments in this collection feature luxury extras like premium ensuites with double vanity and free standing bath, while the penthouses and sub-penthouses boast huge open plan design, quality high end finishes and spacious outdoor living to maximise the stunning views.
“The ‘River Collection’ apartments occupy 12 levels, and feature either two or three bedrooms, two secure car spaces, spacious design and expansive views.
“The ‘City Collection’ is made up of one and two bedroom apartments, each with quality finishes, open plan living and generous balconies.
“With so much choice in apartments and luxury extras, Gallery House will suit all purchasers, be it investors, young professionals, families or retirees.”
Mr Butterworth said the success of Brookfield’s most recent project, Pinnacle at Portside Wharf, proved buyers had an appetite for high-end apartments in Hamilton.
“After strong sales in Pinnacle, Brookfield Residential Properties has decided it is the right time to release our next riverfront residential development,” he said.
“Gallery House will focus on the owner-occupier market but will have enormous appeal to astute investors looking for a premium product.
“The building will house a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses with various floor plans, ensuring there is plenty of choice for buyers.
“We expect to see a lot of interest in the coming weeks through our registration of interest campaign as we prepare to bring the property to the market.”
One bedroom apartments in Gallery House are priced from $362,000; two bedroom apartments from $575,000; and three bedroom apartments from $1.28 million.
Gallery House will be the seventh apartment building for Brookfield Residential Properties in Northshore Hamilton – the city’s largest urban renewal project that will ultimately become home to more than 20,000 residents.
It will be located six kilometres from the CBD, 10 minutes from the Brisbane Airport and within walking distance of the CityCat.
